Who We Are
I'm Mike McCarthy of McCarthy Interiors—an independent decorating, carpentry, and refurbishment company based in Farnborough. With two decades of personal experience as a carpenter and decorator, I lead a team of highly skilled tradespeople who collectively boast over 50 years of expertise.
Our canvas spans both private and commercial sectors, along with collaborations with local estate agents and property management firms. We diligently tackle repairs, maintenance, and transformative refurbishments across diverse properties.
Moreover, I've fostered partnerships with contractors spanning various trades, enabling us to adeptly manage larger projects from start to finish. We are also an SSIP approved contractor meaning we carry out all our works inline with the strictest health and safety regulations.

 Mike and his team did an amazing job building a mezzanine level in our guest bedroom/playroom. The work was finished to a very high standard, they were a pleasure to have in our home, and Mike accommodated a couple of last minute scope changes too which isn’t always easy. They were as tidy as possible too which was appreciated given we have two small children at home. Would definitely recommend, we are already discussing our next project with Mike!

 I cannot recommend Mike highly enough. He did a few weeks interior works for me recently and am very pleased with the outcome. The works involved removing a chimney/fireplace, erecting a new internal wall, outfitting a new office and decorating new lounge. He is incredibly thorough, hardworking and takes pride in his workmanship. I was also very impressed with his cleanliness and he even power washed my path before finishing the job. I have a future list of works for him to do at my house!

 Mike did an amazing job with panelling and decorating our master bedroom. He is very professional and courteous and his work is of an excellent standard. He left everything very tidy and we are so happy with the end result, thank you so much!

 Mike was courteous, professional, and turned up on time for the work and quote. Very tidy and neat and put my light fittings back in place after the rooms painted.  Mike gave us an excellent service. We needed many issues to be addressed - replace external paving stones, repaint the outside of a conservatory, fix some kitchen furniture, redecorate internally, repair an extract hose from a tumble dryer. Mike has helped us on a few occasions over the last year. Every time he has attended all appointments on time, provided a quote punctually, carried out the work at the agreed time, worked in a very tidy respectful manner. I cannot recommend Mike highly enough - he is first class.
